College of the Canyons and UCLA Alumni. I studied at the University of California Los Angeles in the department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, MIMG for short. My focus was on infectious disease and transmission pathways. I was originally interested in microbiology after volunteering in a burn unit in high school, seeing first hand how devastating a simple infection could be to these patients. I took my introduction to microbiology course spring 2014 with Don Takeda, and have since then observed several other microbiology lectures including Cindee Robinson.
This website was created for the students at College of the Canyons as an additional resource. The handouts are taken from my workshops as well as adaptations of instructor lecture materials. |
